An Introduction to Waves

In a scientific term, a wave is an interference that goes through space and time. A wave is usually caused by a type of energy that has made a physical impact to create the wave. Waves can cause physical impact in the environment such as a sound wave going through a trumpet and therefore creating a larger sound. There are many different types of waves such as longitudinal , water and transverse waves. These waves behave in different ways, some causing physical impact and some that wont cause anything. Sometimes we don't even recognise waves are in our atmosphere as the human eye can not spot most waves. Waves are an important thing and without them, the environment would act in a very different way.
